All Americraft fans, ventilators, exhausters, and centrifugal blowers are assembled in the United States at our plant in Cincinnati, Ohio, along with a significant portion of the fabrication/construction process.
Steel components may have base minerals or raw materials sourced from outside the US, but are formed, welded and painted by Americraft to create our fan housings. Cast aluminum components such as blower parts and single-piece propellers may have base materials from outside the US, but are cast in the US and shipped to Americraft for trimming, boring, balancing, finishing and assembly. Components for multi-piece Elta propellers used on Americraft fans are cast overseas and shipped in parts to Americraft to be assembled, pitched, trimmed, and balanced. Motors are shipped to Americraft from domestic warehouses but may be built partly or wholly overseas or use foreign parts.
Having the overwhelming majority of our manufacturing done in-house gives us the freedom to build at our own pace by minimizing reliance on supplier lead times, and provides a more direct connection to the work to simplify designing and building specialty and non-standard units.
